The alleyways of the Old City of Safed, the Artists’ Quarter, the colorful characters in the city – all of these create a special atmosphere that inspire a variety of activities offered by "Shvil HaLev” – The Center for the Safed Experience. The Center’s staff includes storytellers, tour guides, artists, musicians, street actors, workshop instructors managed by a professional production company and more. During the tours given by the Center, tourists will meet local artists, listen to street stories, visit Safed courtyards, taste a variety of delicious cheeses and enjoy additional unique Safed attractions. The Center also organizes musical street performances, Shabbat getaways in Safed, meetings with artists, special workshops such as the Contemplation Workshop and Women’s Workshops, as well as arranging family events. The Center’s specialty is their unforgettable Safed Bar or Bat Mitzva experience, for memories that will last a lifetime.
