Vered HaGalil offers a charming combination between a restaurant, wood and basalt vacation units, activities for all ages and a horse farm which has a long and respected reputation of many years for providing attractive and professional horseback riding tours. Vered HaGalil is wonderfully situated among orchards and hidden trails, within a landscape dotted with black basalt rocks, when below glistens in light blue the Sea of Galilee. The horses at Vered HaGalil Horse Farm receive wonderful treatment and they look great. A lot has been said about the special connection between a man and a horse and about horseback riding giving the rider a special feeling and a connection with nature from a different point of view. The horseback riding tours are suitable for all ages and are given professionally and courteously by friendly guides. Young children enjoy very much riding on the gentle ponies, Milky and Mocha. The older children can enjoy a short horseback ride of up to 10 minutes on a large horse. From the age of eight and above one can join professional horseback riding lessons.
Vered HaGalil’s Riding School has been active in the area for over twenty years now and it is highly professional. For adventurers and experienced riders Vered HaGalil Horse Farm offers long riding tours in the area of the Galilee and even the Golan- day tours, moonlight tours and even several days tours (the Bonanza tour). All of the tours are conducted carefully and at a pace that is suitable for everyone, even those who never rode a horse before. During the rides all riders wear helmets that fit them. It is recommended to combine a visit to the Vered HaGalil Horse Farm with an excellent meal at Vered HaGalil’s Restaurant and an overnight stay at Vered HaGalil’s attractive vacation units.
