The Underwater Observatory Marine Park in Eilat
The Underwater Observatory Marine Park, which is located about 8 km to the south of the city of Eilat at a coral reef, is one of the most well-known attractions of this southern city and also one of its best. At the Underwater Observatory Marine Park of the city of Eilat one can find the most impressive and colorful collection of the local species of the Red Sea. In the huge aquariums of this underwater observatory are found more than four hundred different species of colorful native coral reef fish, predatory fish, corals, sea sponges and other fascinating creatures of the sea. A large aquarium is dedicated to sharks and here one can also see the sharks being fed publicly right in front of the audience of visitors. There are also sea turtles and catfish pools here and an impressive display of animals from the area of the Amazon River in South America, a simulator which simulates a dive in the sea and a glass bottom boat which goes on tours in the Red Sea around the coral reef.

Coral Beach Nature Reserve
The Coral Beach Nature Reserve is one of the most famous underwater nature reserves in the world. The coral reef at its center spreads over a kilometer and a half parallel to the shore of Eilat’s bay, and it is the most northern reef in the world. This nature reserve features a rich habitat of fish, corals and other sea creatures, and after many years of difficulties it is now recuperating. The nature reserve attracts to it divers from all over the world, who come here to experience the spectacular diving trails inside what looks like multi-colored gardens. The reef is full of labyrinths, canyons and shallow bays which serve as a prefect hiding place for the fish that live in it.

The Dolphin Reef
The Dolphin Reef, located at the southern coast of Eilat, is one of Eilat’s most popular attractions. In the waters around this charming an isolated reef, lives a big Pod of Dolphins and the visitors to this place are welcome to watch their way of life and their interaction with people. The main attraction here is the exciting and unique experience of a small group one hour guided diving or swimming session, alongside the dolphins. One can also take here various levels of diving courses and if you only want a taste of this underwater experience, you can do an introductory dive.
