The Kablan family selected the Arabic name for Mount Meron as the name of its enchanting bed and breakfast. The Al Jaramek guesthouse is situated in the Druze village of Beit Jan, one of the highest towns in Israel, where the air is clear and crisp and the view of Mt. Meron's slopes covered in shades of green is strikingly magnificent. Al Jaramek contains eight spacious guestrooms for families and four renovated rooms for couples. Some of the rooms have large patios facing a stunning mountainous landscape. Your hosts at Al Jaramek will enrich your stay with stories of the Druze tradition and culture as well as mouthwatering cuisine: warm pita bread straight out of the oven, hummus and labaneh (yogurt cheese), olives and fresh salads. In addition, guests may order a traditional Druze meat meal for lunch or supper. In the large courtyard, you can sit under berry and nut trees while listening to the trickle of a small waterfall. During the winter, Al Jaramek is covered in a refreshing white layer of snow, while in the summer you can enjoy a cool breeze even on the hottest of days. Guided group tours of the village as well as lectures on the Druze way of life, the Druze religion and reincarnation are available through Al Jaramek as well.
