Mountains, Rivers and Waterfalls in The Negev

Ada Canyon is a narrow crevice in the area of the Paran Stream which started its way as a fissure and then the flood water entered the limestone and widened it into a beautiful impressive canyon. The lower layer of the walls of Ada Canyon is made out of red sand stone and it gives Ada Canyon special shades. Ada Canyon winds along a few hundreds of meters and its erect walls climb up along tens of meters. One can enjoy a fairly challenging trail at the Ada Canyon with quite the amount of action in climbing a vertical metal ladder, a negative slope waterfall, climbing with the help of ropes and more. In certain areas the Ada Canyon is so narrow to the level of making it very difficult to pass for those who are not slim, so think twice whether this trail suits you. The Ada Canyon trail passes through an IDF fire zone. During the middle of the week a trip here must be pre-coordinated.
