A large impressive tile roof, a tall bell tower, stone facades on which climb plants and a feel of a journey in time and space characterize the Evangelical Church which served some of the Templers who established this place which was initially called "Waldheim”. The place is located at the edge of the Jezreel Valley, near the Alonei Abba Forest Reserve, and the Evangelical Church, which is situated on the main road which leads from the entrance to the moshav, was founded in 1916. Many mistakenly call the Evangelical Church the "Templer Church” but in fact the Templers did not need churches. The Evangelical Church was built by Templers who rebelled against the accepted approach which characterized the sect. The Evangelical Church is built in a Neo-Gothic style and its building stones were quarried in the area of the nearby Zipori Stream. After years in which the Evangelical Church stood closed and neglected, it was decided in the beginning of 2011 to renovate it and turn it into a public structure which will host performances and concerts.
