Aminadav Forest- 7,000 planted dunams which integrate into a natural grove- is one of the most beautiful and large forests near the city of Jerusalem. Besides the beautiful observation points which overlook from up high the Sorek and Refa’im streams, as well as a few small settlements, Aminadav Forest offers one of the most popular trails in the area: Shvil HaMa’ayanot (the Springs Trail), which passes by a few water pools and carstic springs in some of which one can take a dip (depending on the season). Aminadav Forest also offers very photogenic agricultural terraces, remains of ancient orchards and wine presses and many parks (the Hurbat Sa’adim or Sa'adim Ruin is considered one of the most pleasant of them). Some of the trails at Aminadav Forest are also suitable for bicycle riding.
