The small and well-kept Ashkelon Marina, near the "Bar-Kochba" and "Delilah" beaches, is one of the most pleasant of its kind in Israel. At the anchorage itself, are anchored many yachts and small fishing boats, and everything is surrounded by a lovely boardwalk, especially enjoyable in the evenings and nights, when the restaurants, cafes and pubs are filled with people. During the day, one can visit the observation point and enjoy the sea view. This place also has a diving club, Marine Education Center and more. The Marina is situated at a walking distance from the city’s nice hotels, and to its south is the Ashkelon National Park, a wonderful piece of nature and archeology on its own.
