In the south of Tel Aviv, near HaTikva neighborhood, is found a surprisingly large green lung. Spreading over almost a thousand dunams, The Begin Park offers its visitors games and fitness installations, a small zoo, sports fields and- the highlight- a picturesque lake, where one can sail in boats that can be rented on the spot. The lake got famous for its cable water ski activity, which attracts many water sports and extreme sports lovers, and everything in between. The Begin Park, which is also called "Park Darom” (South Park), is a classic location for a relaxed long picnic, walking within urbane nature or a bicycle ride- alone, in a couple or with the whole family.
