Those of you who want to learn about the long way which the fruit goes through from the initial planting of the tree and until the fruit arrives at the marketing chains are invited to the Beresheet Visitors' Center at kibbutz Merom Golan which is in the Golan Heights. The Beresheet Visitors' Center offers a guided tour of about an hour in the largest packing house in Israel, where you will be told about the harvest, cool storage, sorting system and quality control, the packaging and the way to the marketing chains. Throughout the year it is usually the apple that is the center of the tour, but during the cherry season (May – July) you will be able to learn about this beautiful fruit as well (you can call before arrival to find out what fruits you will be able to see during your visit.). The visit at the Beresheet Visitors' Center is suitable for families, individuals and organized groups.
