One visits St. Andrew's Scottish Church in Jerusalem, which is located near the beautiful Jerusalem Liberty Bell Garden, not only because of its special structure but also because of the view that it provides over to Mount Zion and Jerusalem’s Old City. St. Andrew's Scottish Church was built in the 1920s and includes an impressive Prayer Hall which features memorial planks in the memory of Scottish soldiers who served in the British army and fell during the conquest of the Land of Israel in World War I. The exterior of St. Andrew's Scottish Church combines western and eastern motifs and it is build out of a yellowish limestone which gives it an antique shade (an effect which also results from the fact that lichen flourish on this stone). The St. Andrew's Scottish Church also features the lovely St. Andrew's Scottish Guest House and a café. The St. Andrew's Scottish Church is located on 1 David Remez Street.
