The Dobrovin Farm

There are places and sites that have become with the years associated with certain periods in time due to the uniqueness of what they offer to their visitors. Such is the Dobrovin Farm in Yesod HaMa'ala, which is named after a family of farmers who came here from Russia in 1909 and founded a successful farm here. The Dobrovin Estate was bequeathed to the State of Israel by the descendants of the Dobrovin family and was converted into a kind of a museum that reconstructs those past times as well as the family’s history. The house itself was reconstructed magnificently and in the courtyard there is a small garden, a small animals’ corner and a well. The Dobrovin Farm offers a historical presentation in several languages, which describes the history of Yesod HaMa'ala. Recently an Events Garden was opened here but the Dobrovin Estate itself is open for visitors.
