Short, comprehensive and relaxed- this is the way to describe the trip to Ein Yorkat, a spring which provides a long peaceful while in front of the wonderful views of the Galilee. However, for all this goodness one needs to work a little. And this work is the climbing in the beginning of the trail. It is not difficult but also not very easy. On the other hand, there is no rush and one can stop and rest under every lively tree. The trail passes by oak and strawberry trees, winds up, and after less than a kilometer from its beginning arrives at Ein Yorkat and the magnificent strawberry tree that is planted next to it. Ein Yorkat flows slowly into a small channel and from it into a tiny natural pool. Next to Ein Yorkat one can find hints to the visits of wild animals that come here to drink. And the view? Peki'in Valley is all in front of you. This is the time to slow down and give in to the landscape. One can arrive at Ein Yorkat from road number 864. Look for the 7th kilometer milestone, look for an improvised parking space and walk east on the trail marked in red.
