Sarakh Stream (Fern Stream) offers mainly a walk in a dim thicket by secret intimate spaces which were created here by the thick grove. This is as much fun as it sounds. Even on Saturdays this place is not too crowded and is capable of welcoming everyone easily. The full trail requires two cars, but one can go on a shorter version of there and back. Most of the trail is hidden from the sun, which only adds to the experience: common oak trees, terebinth trees, Judas trees, strawberry trees and a variety of climbing plants will serve as the scenery for the next couple of hours. After about a kilometer and a half of a leisurely climb down into the channel, you will reach the big surprise: the Sharakh (Fern) Cave. Turn on your flashlight and go in for an enjoyable journey between its halls and stalactites. Whoever got here with two cars is welcomed to continue and complete the full route through Betzet stream, which includes cascades and small pools. Arrival: Look for the signposts on road number 899, east to the entrance into Granot.
