Lavie Forest

Lavie Forest, which is planted in the Galilee near Golani Junction, has an added value. In the Lavie Forest works one of the Jewish National Fund’s nurseries, where occasionally experiential educational activities take place. The pleasant Lavie Forest includes picnic areas and as such it is considered a recommended place for a stop on the way to or from a trip in the north of the country. The main park in the Lavie Forest, which is handicap accessible, includes a children’s playground, toilets, a small amphitheater and more. Beyond all these, during the spring the orchards of the Lavie Forest give a magnificent show and in the summer ripe fruits as well (the orchards are located in the area where Lubia village used to be).
Arrival at Lavie Forest: from Golani Junction, which is on road number 77, drive eastward toward Givat Avni and from there continue according to the signs.
