From the height of 1,208 meters above sea level the views of the Galilee region look like a beautiful postcard. Adding a panoramic view to it turns it into a real treat for the soul. This is exactly what the circular trail above Mount Meron provides: 360 degrees of green nature. The Galilee, the Golan, the Hermon, the Gilboa and the Carmel, all appear one after the other and give their show. A look downward will reveal the large Meron Nature Reserve, with its dense groves of oak trees, terebinth trees, strawberry trees, storax trees, and other green friends. The trail itself winds along 2 kilometers (if you would like to make the trail longer you can climb to the mountain yourself instead of parking on it). And if you are already here, and if it is spring, do not miss the nearby "Peony Trail”, near Mount Hillel, where everything is painted pink and purple.
