The Museum of Far Eastern Art Ramat Gan

The Yechiel Nahari Museum of Far Eastern Art in Ramat Gan was inherited by the city’s municipality from the avid collector after whom this museum is named. The Museum of Far Eastern Art opened to the public in 1988 and it presents a permanent exhibition which includes items from the 13th century and until our time- all, of course, from the eastern Asian countries (mostly China and Japan). The various items that are displayed at the Museum of Far Eastern Art include a variety of ceramics, wood and ivory carved figurines, bronze and porcelain ware, furniture, various types of swords, carpets, wood prints and more. Occasionally the Museum of Far Eastern Art hosts changing exhibitions on the subjects of Far Easters art and culture. The Museum of Far Eastern Art is located on 18 Hibbat Zion Street.
