Gedera and the Biluim movement are inseparable. And about that special connection one can learn at the Museum of the History of Gedera and the Biluim that is housed inside a charming structure of a colonial architectural style, which was donated to it by Moshe and Rachel Mintz. The Museum of the History of Gedera and the Biluim tells about the history which brought to the foundation of the Biluim movement, about the movement’s activities and the immigration of its members into Israel, as well as about the history of Gedera since 1884 and until today. Among other things, one can find at the Museum of the History of Gedera and the Biluim modest illustration means through which one can learn about the first stages of the agricultural work that was done here, view everyday work tools (the matter of laundry receives great representation here, as well as weights and scales), watch a description of the work of shoemakers and leather workers, see a doctors clinic with medical tools from various periods and more. The Museum of the History of Gedera and the Biluim is located on 29 HaBiluim Street.
