The Nature Museum in Jerusalem

It is very easy to miss out on this wonderful gem, which both children and adults will find very interesting for a while. Nature and environment are the stars of the Nature Museum, which is housed in a 19th century Jerusalemite stone structure. The Nature Museum was founded almost half a century ago and it presents exhibitions that are dedicated to the past and present of the animal world in the Land of Israel. Among the numerous exhibitions and activities offered at the Nature Museum are: introduction to the world of animals, geology, the human body, dinosaurs, senses and communication, parents and children, the honey bee and the beehive, plants, the seasons of the year, a collection of stuffed animals, the environment and the protection of nature, nature stories hour, and more. A great emphasis is put on the birds of the Land of Israel. In addition, one can also find at the Nature Museum a sculptures garden and a community garden.
