Not far away from Be’er Sheva is the Omer Industrial Park, and like other Industrial Parks founded by the industrialist Stef Wertheimer, the Omer Industrial Park is characterized by the right combination of art, education and culture, in a way which will suit family trips as well as more thorough visits. The Omer Industrial Park includes the Omer Open Museum which features changing exhibitions of Israeli art, such as painting and photography and an open air Sculpture Garden which presents artworks by artists such as Ofra Zimbalista and Uri Lifshitz together with those of less known artists. There is also a lovely Antique Car Collection here which includes tens of cars from various periods and all are sparkling clean and shiny. During holidays and various events, workshops and activities for the whole family take place here.
