It is true that the pomegranate is the heart of the matter here, but to the Rimon Winery, which is in moshav Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee region one also arrives for the views, atmosphere and everything in between. The Rimon Winery was established in 2003, after a research conducted by its founders, which pointed at the most suitable kind if pomegranate for the production of wine. Today the Rimon Winery proudly presents refined wines that are not only delicious but also have medicinal properties. The Rimon Winery, which offers a dessert wine and a pomegranate dry wine, gets its pomegranates from the beautiful orchard located at the height of almost 900 meters above sea level. The pomegranate trees look like tiny red spots in the basalt ground and provide an excellent romantic atmosphere to the views. If the visit to the elegant visitor center left you wanting more, you should know that you can book tours here and fun days for individuals, families and groups, including a romantic day for couples, as well as a wine, cheese and chocolate workshop.
