The Tamar (Date Fruit) Festival is a festival of Israeli and International music that takes place yearly at the Dead Sea during the intermediate days of the Jewish Holiday of Sukkot. The Tamar Festival includes various performances by leading artists in an enchanted atmosphere under the sky in the heart of the Zohar Stream Canyon; sunrise concerts at the top of the Masada Mountain; sunset concerts in Ein Gedi, and more. The Tamar Festival also includes the "Tamar Nights” project, which offers participants various activities from the afternoon and until the next morning, such as a visit to the "open houses” of the artists of the area, alternative sleeping arrangements, parties and all kinds of attractions by moonlight, cheese and wine fairs and more.
